Lyon & Fitzpatrick, LLP traces its roots to 1888 when Addison Loomis Green opened a law practice in Holyoke. Clifford S. Lyon joined the firm in 1915, and Clarke S. Lyon entered the practice in 1948. The Green family's participation ended with the retirement of Addison B. Green, the founder's son, in 1957. The Lyon family has served the firm through three generations, including current partner, Peter C. Connor. Of Counsel is William D. Fitzpatrick, who joined the firm in 1958 and continues to provide not only his name but quality legal services to the clients of the firm

The firm's attorneys and staff share a commitment to Western Massachusetts. Many serve their communities through a variety of not-for-profit affiliations, including the Chamber of Commerce, local hospitals, Boys & Girls Clubs, and Western Mass. Legal Services, to name a few.

The original firm had offices in downtown Holyoke, where it remained for over 100 years. The firm outgrew those facilities and moved to its present location in 1993. Located at the "crossroads" of Interstate 91 and the Massachusetts Turnpike, the members of Lyon & Fitzpatrick, LLP, continue to serve Western Massachusetts with dedication and a deep appreciation for the loyal clients who have made the firm's longevity possible.
