Michael Gove, of Northampton, graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Boston College School of Law. He was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 2004, worked as the law clerk for the Western Division of the Housing Court in Springfield for two years, and has been an associate at Lyon & Fitzpatrick, LLP since 2006. Michael's focus is on business law, employment law, estate planning, landlord-tenant law and zoning law.

In 2007, Michael was recognized by BusinessWest as one of the "Top 40 Under Forty" individuals in the region. He has also taken part in the "Leadership Holyoke" program, a joint enterprise of the Holyoke Chamber of Commerce and Holyoke Community College. Michael is active in the Western Massachusetts Eldercare Professional Association, the Hampden County Estate Planning Council, and the Hampden County Bar Association. Michael also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority.
